Members' Gallery 2020: May 2020

May Competition "ABSTRACT" saw several images taken out by our Judge Peter Phillips because he considered them out of category. There wasn't anything wrong with the images, Peter suggested that many of them should be resubmitted in a different category, however they did not fit the brief. So it may be an idea for future competitions to read the brief to make sure you understand it clearly to avoid being disappointed. Alternatively you can contact Ray Sweeting as our Competition Secretary and he will explain it.

However, Peter, did an excellent job of judging this month's comp and we appreciate the critique and feedback he gave us.

Our online April 2020 Snap-A-Thon brought out our creative juices flowing which resulted in some great images being submitted for the competition. Thanks to those who took part. Judged by the members themselves its obvious that they know a thing or to about what constitutes a good image and what doesn't. (Especially the images in Category 9 "something that comforts you")

Our outright winner was John Coates who won four of the categories. Congratulations John on a fine effort.
